Chris LeeBergstrom

I spent 20 years building live shows. Now I build the software that runs them — and a few other things along the way.

Method

01

Ideate

I orchestrate

Brainstorm, Socratic dialogue, multi-model research (Gemini for breadth, Grok for speed, Claude for depth), decision gate. Open questions get explored by multiple models; I evaluate the options and choose the approach.

02

Build

Claude Code as primary agent

Full context loaded — CLAUDE.md, design docs, memories. Three to four parallel branches at once. The agent writes code, runs the dev loop, commits, catches Biome/CI errors and auto-fixes without human intervention.

03

Verify

Adversarial gauntlet

Biome and the test suite as the quality floor. Codex reviews the same repo with instructions to be brutal — signs every report. Critique gets fed back to Claude: 'what do you think of this?' A third model breaks the echo chamber when needed.

04

Deploy

I approve the diff

My eyes on the delta before merge. The agent triggers Render deploys via MCP — services, cron jobs, workers. Sentry monitors live; runtime errors loop back to the build agent for patches.

05

Maintain

Living docs, self-maintaining

Agents update their own CLAUDE.md. Periodic drift checks against architecture specs. Every failure becomes a better instruction. Memory plus git plus persistent context equals seamless continuity across machines and sessions.

Skills

Twenty-five domains, seven at expert depth, fluent across the rest. Active in AI-native development since the GPT-2/3 era — four-plus years compounding through every model generation.

AI

AI & Data

LLM orchestration across Claude, Gemini, Grok, Deepseek, and local models. Model internals — tokenization, quantization, embeddings, inference tuning. Generative AI across image (Midjourney, Flux), voice (ElevenLabs, Whisper), music (Suno), and video (Runway). Custom Graph RAG, vector databases, persistent AI memory.

ENG

Engineering

Frontend (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Canvas/WebGL). Backend (Supabase + Postgres with RLS, Node/Bun, tRPC/REST/GraphQL, Python, Rust/Go). Edge performance (Cloudflare Workers, multi-region, offline-first). Security (OAuth, OWASP, bot defense). Infrastructure on Render and Cloudflare. CI/CD with a robust test suite.

LIVE

Industry Domain

Audio engineering and production tech — Pro Tools, Logic, Dante/AES67, SPL/RT60/FFT measurement, MIDI/OSC/DMX show control. Live entertainment operations — advancing, settlements, crew logistics, FOH engineering, stage management, ticketing, IATSE compliance, $10K–$1M+ productions, festivals at scale.

HUM

Business & Human

Product strategy and architecture trade-offs. Design and UX informed by Jakob's Law and iOS HIG. Contract negotiation, IP protection, revenue modeling. Technical and creative writing (including The Archivists). People leadership and live crisis management.

History

The road came first. Front of house, tour management, technical direction — the credits are the reason the software is any good.

FOH

Front of House

The Dandy Warhols. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Macklemore. Arenas, festivals, and civic halls.

TM

Tour Management

International touring. Routing, advancing, settling. The work that decides whether the show even reaches the stage.

TD

Technical Direction

Venue operations and production direction. Two decades of front-of-house and studio work — some of it credited, some of it not.

20Y+

Span

Twenty-plus years building live shows. Now building the software that runs them.

Off the Clock

Same brain, different mediums.

The Archivists — surreal moonscape with twin moons rising over a chroma-streaked desert horizon

Substack · Serialized novella

The Archivists

A serialized novella, in progress. Same brain that built the live shows and the software — different medium, closer to where the fiction was always headed.
